What we aim for

We want this site to work with a keyboard, with a screen reader, and with whatever settings you have chosen on your own device. That is not a certification, it is how we build it.

If something blocks you, we would rather hear it than not. Mail hello@portano.nl and say what you were trying to do and what happened instead. We reply within one working day.

What the site does today

You can tab through the whole site, and a link at the top lets you skip the menu and land on the content. Whatever holds focus is outlined so you can see it.

Turn motion down in your system settings and everything stops: the card rows no longer scroll on their own, the tabs no longer advance on their own, and the animations are replaced by a still frame.

Text is set as real headings and paragraphs rather than as pictures of text, so a screen reader can read out the shape of a page and you can zoom in without losing anything.

What is not finished

This statement has not been formally audited against the European Accessibility Act. It records what we have done, not what an audit found. Once that audit exists its result goes here, including the parts that come out badly.
